Born at the end of the 70’s in the Aragonian capital, Javier Orduña grew closely linked to the city’s first punk scene and entered into contact with the sound of legendary bands as Bad Brains, Dead Kennedys or Joy Division. It was already in the 80´s when Orduña saw for the first time genres as the acid house or the techno from Detroit which would mark the rest of his life for good.
In 2000, Orduña decided to pack and move to Barcelona, where he soon connected with the emerging electronic music scene, getting his first residency at the legendary Moog club where he shared the Dj booth with the elite of the global techno.
Soon was he arranging dates with the most important clubs in Spain: Florida 135, Danzoo, Cassette, Pagoa, Space (Ibiza) or Metro Dance Club, as well as sets in some of the most renowned international clubs : Lex Club (Vienna), Luzztro Club (Warsaw), About Blank (Germany) Lola Club (Shanghai), National Underground (New York), La Feria (Santiago of Chile), Boa Boa (Geneva) ADE Festival (Amsterdam Dance Event).
After having travelled around half of the world, Javier focused all his effort on what today is his natural environment: the musical production. In the last years, he has become one of the most prolific and respected producers in Spain, making his music a personal and unique language combining the soul of Detroit with the complexity of the jazz, and resulting into a sound brimming with soul and groove.
This has captured the attention of the most prestigious record labels of the electronic scene, turning him into a talismanic producer for many front-line DJs.
Artists such as Guy Guerber, Hot since 82, Guy J or Chaim -among others- have played his tracks in several well known festivals and clubs. Some of his best works have been published by great labels like VISIONQUEST (Shaun Reeves, Ryan Crosson and Lee Curtiss’ label), VIVA MUSIC (run by Steve Lawler), and also MODA BLACK, where he shared works with his partner and brother Upercent.
His latest additions have been JEUDI RECORDS (captained by Doctor Dru, Davide and Take It Easy), CULPRIT the most important record label in Los Angeles, with a great worldwide impact also the English label CHAPTER 24 which has recently acquired a constant presence, and finally EXPLOITED GHETTO one of the most influential labels at the moment.
Javier also owns his own label, NIGHTCOLOURS, where renowned artists and new promises are bringing to life an elegant and personal label, having already earned respect and consideration among its peers in the current electronic scene.

Nacido en la capital aragonesa a finales de la década de los ‘70, Javier Orduña creció muy ligado a la emergente escena punk de su ciudad y, siendo todavía muy joven, entró en contacto con el sonido de bandas legendarias como Bad Brains, Dead Kennedys o Joy División. Ya en los ‘80 descubre por primera vez géneros como el acid house o el techno de Detroit, que marcarán de modo irreversible el resto de su vida.
En el año 2000 Orduña decide hacer las maletas para trasladarse a la Ciudad Condal, donde conecta de inmediato con su vibrante escena electrónica. Muy pronto consiguie su primera residencia en la mítica sala Moog, pasando así a compartir cabina con la élite del techno mundial.
Con el paso del tiempo y sin paréntesis alguno ve cómo sus sets se multiplican en las salas más importantes de la península: Florida 135, Danzoo, Cassete, Pagoa, Space (Ibiza) o Metro Dance Club, así como en algunos de los clubs internacionales más punteros: entre otros, Lex Club (Viena), Luzztro Club (Varsovia), About Blank (Alemania), Lola Club (Shanghai), Nacional Underground (Nueva York), La Feria (Santiago de Chile) y Boa Boa (Ginebra), aportando también su granito de arena en la última edición del festival ADE (Amsterdan Dance Event 2016).
Después de girar por medio mundo, es cuando Javier Orduña centra todos sus esfuerzos en el que es -hoy por hoy- su medio natural: la producción musical. En los últimos años se ha convertido en uno de los productores más prolíficos y respetados de la península, haciendo de su música un lenguaje único y personal que conjuga el alma de Detroit con la complejidad del jazz para dar fruto a un sonido rebosante de alma y groove que ha captado la atención de los sellos más prestigiosos.
Productor fetiche de muchos deejays de primera línea, artistas como Guy Guerber, Hot since 82, Guy J o Chaim -entre otros- han hecho sonar sus tracks en los festivales y clubs más destacados del circuito electrónico. Algunos de sus mejores trabajos han visto la luz en VISIONQUEST (sello de Shaun Reeves, Ryan Crosson y Lee Curtis), VIVA MUSIC (gestionado y dirigido por Steve Lawler) o el sello Ingles MODA BLACK, donde comparte trabajos con su compañero y hermano Upercent. Sus últimas incorporaciones son JEUDI RECORDS (capitaneado por Doctor Dru y Take It Easy y Davide); CULPRIT, el sello más importante de Los Angeles, con una gran repercusión mundial , tambien el sello inglés CHAPTER 24, que en los últimos meses destaca sin descanso en el panorama electrónico actual y finalmente EXPLOITED GHETTO uno de los sellos mas influyentes en la escena mundial.
Javier es también dueño de su propio sello, NIGHTCOLOURS, donde artistas reconocidos y nuevas promesas están dando vida a un “label” elegante y personal que, indudablemente, se ha ganado ya el respeto y la consideración de la actual escena electrónica.
